- Offenders are nearby.
- Life is at risk.
- Injury is caused or threatened.
- Crime or disorder is in progress.
- Emergency situations.

Non Emergency Services
101 (Single non emergency number)
101 is the 24-hour number provided by Southampton City Council and Hampshire Police. Use this number when it is not an emergency, for example:
- Vandalism, graffiti and other deliberate damage to property.
- Noise-related issues.
- Intimidation and harassment.
- Abandoned vehicles.
- Rubbish and litter on the streets.
- People being drunk and rowdy in public places.
- Drug related anti-social behaviour.
- Problems with street lighting.
The 101 service is just for non-emergency problems. If you have an emergency problem you should always Telephone: 999.

You can use this number to contact Community Care Services, Children’s Services and Learning, Social Care, Highways and Environmental Health, Tree Management, as well as for emergency work to council homes.

Use the free Actionline services to tell us about any problems or queries with:
Abandoned vehicles, damaged or broken bus shelters, dog fouling/enforcement, graffiti, potholes, recycling, refuse collections, street lighting, trees, unsafe roads and pavements. Southampton council housing tenants can also use Actionline to report repairs to their home or repairs to communal entrances to blocks of flats.
